Job Description
We are a group of staff members who want to make the town more energetic through tourism.
We are a website provider of Hokkaido’s tourism information overseas.
Hokkaido is seeing an increase in the number of individual tourists from outside of Hokkaido and from overseas.
As tourism styles change, requests from travelers are also changing.
In addition, the tourism industry is now required to collect data from the tourist sites.
This is exactly what UU-Hokkaido, Hokkaido’s largest tourism information portal site, is trying to do.

Hokkaido has many popular tourist destinations with rich natural environments, but suffers from a declining population.
The town will be revitalized if the number of tourists and other exchange population and tourism consumption increases.
So it is important for people in the tourism frontlines to constantly disseminate the right information.
We, at UU-Hokkaido, are here to support them.

We are looking for web developers (using WordPress), system developers (languages: Python, etc.), SNS, data entry, and sales development.
We are looking for employees to work in our office, and outsourcing candidates can work from home.

We are a multilingual information provider in 16 countries (largest scale) and a Chinese government approved site for transmission (only one in Hokkaido).

“Digital Map Gnome”: Sustainable Marketing

We have developed our own digital map (regional data acquisition and analysis).
This map can be registered from a bird’s eye view of the entire area to ZOOM IN, and even ZOOM IN to a tank or a single tree.

Positions
available

  • Web creator (WordPress, etc.): web designer, web coder, data entry
  • SNS (Japanese and English: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X / Chinese: Weibo, RED / Korean: Kakao, etc.)
  • System developer ( Python, etc.)
  • Sales Planning and Development (Diploma required)

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older (no gender or educational background required). Preference will be given to those with work experience.
  • Nationality is not required (however, Japanese Language Proficiency Test N2 or equivalent is required).
  • Applicants residing overseas are also welcome to apply (work-from-home format available).
  • Employment options: Full-time work, remote work, or mixed (side hustles are acceptable).
  • Outsourcing is also available (work will be guided on a registration basis).

  • A person whose identity can be verified (certificate, etc.)
  • A healthy, responsible person
  • Self-provision of the necessary terminals and internet environment for work
  • Remote communication (Zoom, etc.) support

Flexible working hours

    Working hours: weekdays 9:30-18:30 (weekends and holidays off, 132 days off in 2025)
  • Social insurance, commuting allowance, no smoking If you want to work remotely (part-time)
     By the hour, on commission (at one project price)
